Picking Up Your Advanced Ticket Order

You can pick up your advanced ticket order starting Monday, September 3. Go to the Festival Box Office at College Park (444 Yonge Street) anytime between 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The line typically starts outside in the courtyard on the west side of the building (see the pictures from my posts in September 2006); look for festival volunteers to tell you where to line up.

You must have your Pick Up Voucher (which you should have received in the mail last month) with you in order to pick up your tickets.

If you did not receive all of your first or second choices, then your e-mail confirmation from the festival should list one or more Regular Top Up Vouchers. You will receive these when you pick up your order. You can exchange these vouchers on Monday for other films that have free seats, or you can use them during the festival when general sales begin on the 5th.

If you didn't get all your choices, then you may want to line up early in order to be able to select other films after you pick up your tickets and vouchers. If you did get all your choices, then I recommend you show up later to pick up your tickets so you can avoid the crowds.

If you didn't receive an e-mail confirmation, show up anyway on Monday with your Pick Up Voucher, as your order will still have been fulfilled.

Since I received all my choices, can I wait until Friday to pick up my tickets? As a first-timer, I found your blog very informative. Thanks!

Could you tell me how much a regular priced individual ticket is?

Individual tickets, when they go on sale as of September 5, are $19.34, or $16.74 if you buy them the day of the showing.

You can buy the tickets starting Sept 5 at any of the box offices, online, or by phone.

You can buy same day tickets at any of the above plus the theatre that will be showing the film, on the day of the showing. If you buy at the theatre, tickets are available starting one hour before the first film of the day at that theatre.

If you received all your choices, then I think you can wait until Friday to pick them up. You may just want to e-mail or call the festival to double-check, though, and to confirm that they'll still be at the Festival Box Office by that point.
