Box 20 of 33 Chosen

Thanks to TIFFReview's livestream, learned that box 20 of 33 was chosen as the starting point for processing Advance Order Books for TIFF 2011. The festival will start processing orders from that box, all the way up to box 33, before wrapping around to box 1, finishing up at box 19.

Oh damn... I'm in box 15 and I picked a lot of popular movies in the evening. I imagine I'll get a lot of vouchers.

Is it just me, or are there fewer and fewer boxes? I feel like boxes went up into the 50s (or even higher?) not too long ago.

I wonder if the number of boxes is going down because the number of membership tickets going out first is going up?

Yeah, for sure it's the donor boxes. I barely remember them before and this year I think there's more than seven.

According to Twitter, there were 18 donor boxes but they were spread across 33 partly filled boxes to stay consistent with the 33 public boxes. Something like that?

I think they had a pretty successful membership drive after the Light Box was finished... maybe that's where the extra donors are coming from?

Regardless, more and more people seem to be jumping the lottery process.

I feel like I just won the lottery....we had Box 20!
