Received My Confirmation

I received my confirmation for the picks in Box 21 at about 6:30 PM on Saturday, September 1. I got 29 out of 30 picks; the one missed film was 4 months, 3 weeks, and 2 days for my friend, so I ended up with the backup of The Mongol instead. I didn't select any gala or Visa Screening Room films, so that probably helped. My friend has the other half of our picks in Box 49 and I'm not overly optimistic about those; we've got one Visa film in that, plus two of the Mavericks sessions.

I was in around the same box as you and I got 6/10 of my pick.
Two of the ones I didn't get were for Visa's =/.

I handed my order form in an hour before the deadline on Fri. but I forgot to check which box I was in. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can find out? Also, I haven't received my confirmation yet and it's Sunday 6pm EST. Getting worried...

There's probably no good way to find out what box you're in, as they'd have to flip through all the orders to find yours. You may have been unlucky enough to land just before box 66, or every year some people do report that they don't get an e-mail confirmation. Your best bet would be to show up early on Monday to pick up your tickets (or vouchers for any choices you didn't get) and then using them right away to select alternate films.

I'm coming from out of town. I know they go my FedEx on Thursday morning (at least according to the tracking number info). Yet, I still haven't received an e-mail, either. Should I be worried? Do they do the out of town orders differently?

I believe that they send out confirmations even for out-of-town packages. You can check the Midnight Screenings blog at http://midnightscreenings.blogspot.com/ for more info and comments from people who have used the out-of-town package. I think you may also be able to use the Check Order Status function on the TIFF official website; this only works for the out-of-towners.
