Just a reminder that ticket packages for the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival go on-sale tomorrow, July 5, 2010. From July 5 to July 11, you can only purchase packages using a Visa card. Starting July 12, 2010, cash and debit will also be accepted. Based on the opening times for the phone lines and the box office, I wouldn't expect the website to be taking sales until 10:00 AM.
You can purchase ticket packages through one of the following:
- Online, at http://www.tiff.net
- By Phone: (416) 968-FILM (3456), 1-877-968-FILM (3456) Toll-Free, Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- At the TIFF Box Office until August 20, 2 Carlton Street, West Mezzanine Level, Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- At the Festival Box Office starting August 24, 363 King Street W.
Note that you only have to buy ticket packages if you want movies pre-selected for you by the festival, or if you want to participate in the Advance Order procedure. You can also wait until September 3, 2010 and buy individual tickets to films then.
