TIFF 2013 Off-sale (Sold Out) Screenings

This post is a placeholder for people to add comments for any films that they notice as sold out (i.e. off sale) when completing the online ticketing process for My Choice packages for TIFF 2013. Feel free to post a comment for anything you see as sold out when you log in to make your picks to help others out.

Note that films may come off sale if people release them before checking out because they changed their mind or failed to complete the check out process. Also, even though a screening sold out during the My Choice selection process, it may become available again when individual tickets go on sale.

I have 2 premium tickets to Prisoners (Fri Sep 6 at the Elgin) and 2 premium tickets to Night Moves (Sun Sep 8 at Ryerson) that I would like to sell. email riverpool@nexicom.net if interested

Had to wait three hours in the waiting room as well before two of my tabs got past the waiting room at the same time. I don't understand how the waiting system can be so bad either - shouldn't cloud computing let TIFF handle more demand and allow for less wait?

Anyhow, if anyone's interested in Gravity, only the September 9th 3:00 @ POW show has tickets left.

See if this works

The in person box office is open tomorrow?

Swapping:

Does anyone have a ticket to the Double on Sautrday @8pm.

I have a Premium ticket to Labor Day on Saturday@ 6pm

I would just want to swap.

I have one ticket to Only Lovers Left Alive premiere.

Would like to trade it for or straight up buy one ticket to Blue is the Warmest Color premiere.

leonardo_spanky@hotmail.com

Are the actors present only at the Premium screenings?

Do you think I have a chance of seeing Sandra Bullock / George Clooney on the red carpet if I book Gravity on the second day of screening (Sept.9, 3PM, Princess of Wales)?

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone. This thread has been very helpful. Sorry to those who didn't get all the films they wanted. I didn't get everything either, but I'm hoping some stuff opens up after ticket exchanges tomorrow. Keep checking and keep us posted!

canmark, I don't have an answer to your question. Perhaps you should contact whomever you dealt with to secure your lobby pass, explain your situation and see what they will do to accommodate you in the Rush line.

So is there two red carpet premieres for The Fifth Estate on the 5th? And which one is the "more important" one/the one I should go to (celebs, good to stargaze/get autographs, etc)? I'm pretty sure it's not possible for me to go to both as I'd like to go early & get to the front (I'm thinking RTH but not sure as it's my first time). Also, when should I be there? Thanks!

waited 3 hours in virtual waiting room. from my 13 film wishlist, i was only able to get disappearance of eleanore rigby and the jason reitman reading.

looking to buy 1 ticket for august osage county (Gala) on the 9th and any screening of Labor Day.

@Molly: if you only want to stargaze, then I think RTH is probably the better theatre for a red carpet. I'm thinking even though there are 2 premieres that day (which is unusual), RTH will still probably get a red carpet arrival. Not sure how early you'd have to show up to get a good spot by the barricades, though. Maybe someone else can post advice on that.

I'm not sure if my last comment went through.

How effective and common are RUSH lines at major premieres like 12 Years a Slave? Would a highly anticipated fiom like that have a RUSH line? If so, how early should someone get there to ensure they can snag a seat?

Thanks :)

Not sure if there is going to be a trade/sell thread on here, but I thought I'd throw this out. I'm interested in any tickets to any screenings or "Bastards" or "Gloria" and to the Monday screening of "Night Moves." I can buy or trade, so just give me a heads up or e-mail me at credmondart@gmail.com

If anyone has an extra for the IMAX Gravity screening on 9/11, I can buy one from you. My e-mail is williamskaleski@gmail.com

Can someone let me know which Premium/Gala tickets are left?

Since everyone seems to be asking for it, I put a new page for *trades*. Do not post sales or requests there, so I don't have to actively manage the page. I've also disabled anonymous comments, so you will have to sign in with your Google account to post there (and actually everywhere else on this blog now).

I have a pair of tickets for Like Father Like Son for Saturday Sept 7th, 2013 at 4:30 pm, and want to swap for the same movie, but Sunday Sept 8th at 10:00am... if anyone is so kind as to do this with me, my e-mail is stephaniehycheung [at] gmail [dot] com. Thank you!

Going to bring this back for 2014?
