Sold Out Screenings

For those that need to make alternate film choices on Monday because they didn't get their first or second choices, has put up a forum thread that might help:

People are posting the films they didn't get in the advance order process, i.e. films that will likely still not be available when you go to select something else on Monday. There's always a chance films could free up if people exchange in tickets they did get, but I wouldn't put all your eggs in that basket. So if you are planning tonight what alternates you want to pick, take this list into account so you don't waste your time when you get to the front of the line.

Great tip off on this Richard! TIFF fans really know how to work to pool information.

Wow, the sold out list (at the TIFFreviews website) is huge. Does anyone remember if the list was this big last year? It seems to me like it wasn't.

Currently, there looks to be about 178 films off-sale this year. In 2007, at about noon on pickup day, there were about 137 films off-sale. I had even fewer in 2006, so it does seem like it could be even bigger this year.
